Child Custody, Support & Visitation

Childen should be allowed to play and be children. While the law in Texas does allow a child 12 years or older to talk to a judge and express a desire on which parent the child wants to live, it is usually best to allow the child the freedom to just be a child.

Children’s issues are central to our practice.  We handle all child custody, support and visitation issues – including setting up and establishing original custody and child support orders; establishing paternity, enforcing existing court orders and modifying existing court orders.

Whether you are married but separated, divorced, or simply not married to the other parent, or you are a family member who has stood as the actual guardian of a child – if you find yourself in need of court orders you must file a Suit Affecting the Parent Child Relationship.  Don’t go it alone, hire a lawyer with more than 20 years experience helping clients fight for custody of the children they love.
